Ataxxa is a remedy for dogs against ticks, fleas and mosquitoes.

Suitable for dogs weighing up to 4 kg

Suitable for use on dogs, prophylactically or in case of flea and tick infestation.

One treatment prevents flea infestation for 4 weeks - fleas die within one day of treatment.

The product can be used as part of a treatment plan for dogs with severe allergic dermatitis.

The product has a persistent acaricidal effect, therefore it prevents tick infestation for 3 weeks.

Two days after treatment, ticks on the dog may not die, but they can attach and become visible. For this reason, it is recommended to remove ticks already on the dog during treatment so that they do not attach and begin to suck blood.

One treatment acts as a repellent: against mosquitoes - three weeks; against mosquitoes - 7-14 days after treatment.

Notification of side effects: if you suspect that an animal treated with one of the veterinary drugs has developed unwanted side effects, you can report the side effects to the State Food and Veterinary Service by filling in the form on the vmvt.lt website and sending it to the service at the e-mail address provided on the website.

Feeding advice: Instructions for use: use only by instillation. Apply only to intact skin. To ensure the correct dosage, it is necessary to determine the weight of the dog as accurately as possible.

To prevent re-infestation with new fleas, it is recommended to treat all dogs in the house. Other animals in the house should also be treated with appropriate preparations. In order to reduce the number of parasites in the environment, it is recommended to additionally treat the environment with appropriate flea control products (adult and developing).

Depending on the number of ecto parasites, repeated treatment may be necessary. The interval between two treatments should be 4 weeks. However, if the dog is in water frequently and/or for a long time, the effectiveness may be reduced. In this case, the treatment can be repeated no more than once a week. To protect the dog throughout the mosquito season, the treatment should be continued throughout the entire period.

Temporary cosmetic changes (e.g. flaking skin, white spots and hair loss) may occur at the site of application.

Dosage: The recommended minimum dosage is: 10 mg/kg body weight of imidocloprid and 50 mg/kg body weight of permethrin.
