Advantix Spot-On Solution for Dogs (4–10 kg)

Advantix is a veterinary-approved spot-on solution designed to treat and protect dogs weighing 4–10 kg against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, sand flies, and biting flies. Its dual-action formula with imidacloprid and permethrin ensures rapid insecticidal, acaricidal, and repellent effects, protecting your dog and reducing the risk of vector-borne diseases.

Active Ingredients (per 1.0 ml pipette):

• Imidacloprid: 100 mg
• Permethrin: 500 mg
• Butylhydroxytoluene (E321): 1 mg

Indications:

• Treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis and canis)
• Control of biting lice (Trichodectes canis)
• Protection against ticks, including those carrying vector-borne pathogens
• Repels phlebotomine sand flies, mosquitoes, and stable flies

Dosage & Administration:

Apply the full pipette contents directly onto the skin at the base of the dog’s neck (between the shoulder blades). For dogs over 10 kg, distribute across 4 spots along the back from shoulders to the tail base. Avoid applying more than recommended or in one place only.

Recommended dose: One 1.0 ml pipette per dog (10 mg/kg imidacloprid, 50 mg/kg permethrin).

Warnings:

• Do not use on cats. Permethrin is toxic to cats and may be fatal.
• Do not use on puppies under 7 weeks of age or dogs under 4 kg body weight.
• Apply only to intact skin. Avoid contact with dog’s eyes or mouth.
• Keep treated dogs away from children and cats until the application site is dry.
• Highly toxic to aquatic life – keep treated dogs away from water bodies for 48 hours after application.

Possible Side Effects:

• Occasional itching or greasy fur at the application site
• Rarely: redness, vomiting, hair loss, diarrhea, or neurological symptoms
• Symptoms usually resolve without treatment
