Complete dietary feed for cats and dogs

Recommended

• Recovery (including anorexia, weakness, recovery from surgery and tube feeding).
• Hepatic lipidosis (without encephalopathy or primary liver disease).

Not recommended

• For patients whose main goal is to prevent fluid retention, or to prevent the accumulation of nitrogen, phosphorus or sodium products
• For patients with high fat intolerance, e.g. with hyperlipidemic pancreatitis, or with or at risk of developing pancreatitis

Additional information

For best results, the temperature of this food should be between room and body temperature (20 - 40 o C); do not drink directly from the refrigerator.

When feeding with a syringe, mix the contents of the can thoroughly before filling the syringe.

Throw away any unused portion after 36 hours.

Patients with impaired gastrointestinal function may require a 3-day transition period:

• Day 1 - one third of the recommended dose, twice as much water
• Day 2 - two thirds of the daily rate, half a dose of water
• Day 3 - add the entire recommended amount, do not dilute.

For tube feeding, mix with 1-2 parts water.
