Candioli Cystocure Forte urinary tract supplements for dogs and cats, 30 g

The supplement is designed to naturally protect and support the lower urinary tract of dogs and cats. Cranberry pulp - inhibits the attachment of bacteria to the epithelium of the urinary tract, and glucosamine - participates in the organic synthesis of GAGs.

Triple action:

1. Inhibits bacterial attachment and biofilm formation. Proanthocyanidins (PACs) in cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon) are able to inhibit the adhesion of pathogenic bacteria (such as Escherichia coli) to the epithelium of the urinary tract. Also, PACs can reduce bacterial biofilm formation, thereby increasing the sensitivity of pathogenic bacteria in the urinary tract to conventional antibiotic treatment.
2. Helps maintain the integrity of the urothelium. The urothelium is naturally covered by a layer of GAG, which protects against bacterial attachment and contact with harmful substances in urine. Glucosamine in the supplement can contribute to GAG synthesis, thus maintaining and restoring the barrier function of the glucosaminoglycan layer of the bladder wall and the integrity of the urothelium. It is worth noting that diseases such as feline idiopathic cystitis are the result of changes in the partial permeability of GAG and urothelium.
3. Antioxidant protection. Inflammation and oxidative damage are also common in lower urinary tract dysfunction, particularly in oxalate stones and interstitial/idiopathic cystitis. The Melofeed® (superoxide dismutase extracted from melon) in the supplement is the first line of antioxidant defense: it prevents the formation of OH° and the initiation of a chain of radical reactions. Green tea catechins (polyphenols) also have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

In each measuring spoon (0.5g): glucosamine (chitosamine) (from animal tissues) – 125mg, cranberry pulp 15mg.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
For dogs and cats regardless of age, size and living conditions. Mix the powder with regular wet feed. The recommended duration of use is 15-30 days. Initial period - 1 measuring spoon per 5 kg of body weight 2 times a day. Support - 1 measuring spoon per 5 kg of body weight once a day.
