The medicine should be fed once. In order to ensure the correct dose of the drug, the animals must be weighed. The veterinary medicine should be given with feed or after the animal has eaten a little. The medicine is tasty, i.e. usually dogs eat it willingly (voluntary consumption in > 80% of tested animals). If the dog does not eat the tablet voluntarily, it can be put in the mouth. The drug can be used in breeding dogs, including stud and lactating bitches. The following are practical dosage recommendations based on the dog's body weight.

Body weight, kg Amount of tablets
5 – 25 1 tablet
>25 – 50 2 tablets
>50 – 75 3 tablets

Contraindications

Do not use in dogs weighing less than 5 kg.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance (s) or any of the excipients.

Special warnings for specific target animal species

With frequent and repeated use of the same class of anthelmintics, parasites can become resistant to them.

It is recommended to treat all animals in the same house at the same time.

In order to create an effective worm control program, it is necessary to take into account the local epidemiological information and the risk of exposure to dogs, therefore it is recommended to consult a specialist (e.g. a veterinarian).

Infection with D. caninum requires simultaneous treatment against the parasite's intermediate hosts, lice and fleas, to prevent re-infection.

Adverse reactions

Systemic signs (e.g., lethargy), neurologic signs (e.g., muscle tremors and ataxia), and/or gastrointestinal signs (e.g., vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, and drooling) have been reported very rarely in dogs following administration of the combination of milbemycin oxime and praziquantel. In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions have been observed when using the drug.
